DIGI CONNECT

Business process outsourcing is believed to be one of the five sectors with the greatest potential for growth and investment in Vietnam in the near future, but Vietnam’s BPO market is still a young industry facing challenges in staffing due to the lack of qualified employees.

The DIGI-CONNECT project aims to meet the skills gap that Vietnam’s BPO industry faces and uplift marginalized and vulnerable communities in rural areas. Focusing specifically on women, persons-with-disabilities, and unemployed youths, DIGI-CONNECT will train and foster the data-processing skills required by the BPO industry through the use of e-learning platforms, a blended learning approach, a learning management system and more. As the digital and data-based economies grow, DIGI-CONNECT will support BPO companies to address the need for qualified workers, uplift marginalized communities, and fast-track Vietnam’s sustainable development."
