It seeks to promote sustainable practices to address social problems in the developing world, particularly in Asia and Africa. ASSIST takes pride in its process-oriented approach to capacity building towards social improvement and sustainable transformation. Its goal is to empower its target groups to make them resilient to the social, economic and environmental challenges.

ASSIST VIETNAM

ASSIST Vietnam

The Asia Society for Social Improvement and Sustainable Transformation (ASSIST) Vietnam is a branch of ASSIST with its headquarters based in the Philippines. ASSIST has been implementing projects in Vietnam since 2007 through various local partners, and then ASSIST Vietnam was formally registered in 2017. Our Philippines headquarters has been in operation since 2003. ASSIST Vietnam’s key focus areas are similar to the head office in the Philippines, but the Vietnam projects are mostly focused on the current development challenges of Vietnam, and our key focus areas are Agriculture & Food Security, Education & Skill Development, Green Economy, and Health & Sanitation.
